Method
- Cut the brinjals into small pieces.
- In pan add oil, add little jeera (cumin), mustard seeds, udad dal and curry leaves.
- After they are little brown, add the brinjal (egg plant) pieces.
- Add salt and cover it with lid and cook till soft.
- Then in mixer, add one small onion, green chillies, a small piece of ginger and 4-5 cloves of garlic and coriander.
- Grind it into a paste.
- Once the brinjals are cooked, add this paste in it and cover it with a lid and cook for 5 minutes on low flame.
- Serve hot with rice or even chappatis.
