Ingredients:
1 cup - bengal gram (chana) dal
� cup - tomato, chopped
� kg - brinjal
10 to 12 - green chillies or to taste
8 flakes - garlic, peeled and crushed
2 - red chillies, broken into pieces
few curry leaves
� tsp - turmeric powder
1 tsp - mustard
1 tsp - cumin seeds
salt to taste
3 tbsp - oil
