Method
- Mix ghee,salt & maida.
- Mould the batter, keep it aside for 1/2 hr.
- Cook chana dal in a pressure-cooked.
- Add salt.
- Do not cook much.
- It should not be mashed.
- Open cooker lid & heat oil in a pan.
- Add onions, jeera, curry leaves.
- As the onions become brown, add to the dal. Make it boil for 5 mins.
- Add chat masala while serving.
- Now make thick puris.
- Deep fry. Press the puris and make them hard while frying.
- Once it becomes golden, remove from the pan.
- Serve with chana dal & some onions.
