Method
For Filling:
  1. Add oil in a pan.
  2. Fry onions and green chillies.
  3. Then add carrot and all the seasonings.
  4. Mix them well.
  5. Add cabbage and capsicum.
  6. The filling is ready.

For the Dough

  1. In a plate, add sieved flour, oil, salt and baking powder.
  2. Now add a little water to make hard dough.
  3. Keep it aside for 5-6 hours.
  4. Make small, marble-sized balls and roll out very thin and small chapattis.
  5. Fill them with the filling and give the shape of dimsum like that of a garlic bulb.
  6. Then steam them in the idli maker.

For the Sauce:

  1. Heat oil.
  2. Add garlic, ginger and degi mirch.
  3. Then add onions and fry them a little.
  4. Add water, sauces and all the seasonings.
  5. Mix and stir well.
  6. Bring it to a boil.
  7. Add cornflour mixed with water.
  8. Give it a good boil.
  9. Allow to simmer till it becomes thick.
  10. Serve it hot or cold.
  11. Use as a dip

Ingredients:
For the Filling:
1 cup - cabbage (shredded)
1 - onion(chopped)
2 - carrot, small (shredded)
1 - capsicum(chopped)
1 tsp - soya sauce
1 tsp - ajinomoto
1 tsp - refined oil
a pinch -sugar
1 tbsp - coriander (chopped)
tsp - salt
tsp - pepper powder
1 tsp - green chilly(chopped)

For the Dough:
1 cup - maida
1 tbsp - oil
tsp - salt
pinch of baking powder
water for kneading

For Sweet and Spicy Sauce:
1 tbsp - ginger(shredded)
2 tbsp - garlic(shredded)
2 to 3 tbsp - onions(chopped)
2 tbsp - coriander(chopped)
1 tbsp - vinegar
4 tbsp - tomato sauce
1 tbsp - chilli sauce
2 tbsp - red chilli sauce
tsp - salt
tsp - sugar
tsp - degi mirch
tsp - chilli flakes
pinch - ajinomoto
2 tbsp - refined oil
1 cup - water
1 tbsp - heaped cornflour mixed in water
tsp - black pepper powder
