Method
Boil the potatoes, peel off the skin and mash them.
Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a kadai. Add the onions and saute them.
Add the green chillies, potato and peas and cook for 5 minutes.
Make small balls of the potato mixture.
Make a thick paste of the gram flour, rice flour, asafoetida and salt.
Dip the potato balls in the batter and deep fry in oil.
Serve hot with coconut chutney.

4 - potato
1 cup - finely sliced onion
1 cup - boiled peas
4 - green chillies

a pinch of asafoetida
salt to taste
