Method
  1. Heat the oil in a non stick kadai.
  2. Add onion, garlic and ginger and fry till onion turns brown.
  3. Add fenugreek leaves.
  4. Sprinkle with little salt and keep covered on low heat till it is cooked.
  5. Mix all the powders with little water to a paste and add.
  6. Cook stirring for a couple of minutes.
  7. Add tomato puree, paneer and salt.
  8. Add 1/3 cup of water and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Serve hot with rotis.

low fat paneer, cut into tiny pieces - 1 cup
fenugreek leaves (methi bhaji), chopped - 2 cup
onion, chopped finely - 1/2 cup
peanut or rice bran oil - 2 tsp
garlic - 2 tsp, minced
ginger - 2 tsp, minced
chili powder - 1 tsp
turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
cumin powder - 1 tsp
coriander powder - 2 tsp
garam masala powder - 1 tsp
tomato puree - 1/2 cup
salt to taste
