Quick Mooli Fry

Method
  1. Squeeze moisture from mooli scrapings & keep aside.
  2. Heat oil, add mustard seeds, curry patta leaves, fry, and when the seeds splutter add jeera, onion & green chillies.
  3. Fry till the onions turn pink, add crushed garlic then add mooli, haldi & salt.
  4. Mix thoroughly &cover with a lid, let it cook for 2-3 min, remove lid, stir once & check.
  5. If necessary sprinkle some water, mix &keep frying for another min till it is dry.
  6. Sprinkle coriander leaves, serve with chapathi or rice (& hot sambar). Useful for journeys.
Ingredients:
1/4 kg - mooli scrapings
2 tbsp - coconut scrapings
1 - onion, chopped fine
3 - green chillies, chopped fine
6 - garlic cloves, crushed roughly
1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
10 - curry patta leaves
1/2 tbsp - coriander leaves, chopped
1/4 tsp - jeera
a pinch - haldi
1 tbsp - oil
salt
