Method

  1. Finely chop methi (fenugreek leaves) and coriander leaves. Boil potatoes and mash them.

  2. Mix the potatoes with the chopped leaves and check the mixture to see if you can make nice thick balls. If mixture is too dry add a little more mashed potatoes.

  3. Add ginger-garlic pastes and green chillies finely chopped.

  4. Make balls and add cheese cubes to the centre. Fill the cubes just like you fill mixture in dough for making parathas.

  5. Deep fry in hot oil till brownish in colour.

  6. Serve hot with Chutney or Ketchup.

These tikkis are mouth-watering with the cheese cubes melted inside and served with ketchup!!

Ingredients:
1) Methi leaves finely chopped (about half a bunch)
2) Coriander leaves finely chopped (about 2 small bunches)
3) Potatoes (about 2-3 or enough to mold the mixture into balls)
4) Green Chillies (3-4 or as per taste)
5) Ginger paste (1 tsp)
6) Garlic paste (optional; 1 tsp).
7) Cheese cubes (small cubes for centre. I use mozarella cheese ans cut it in cubes)
8) Oil to fry
