Method

  1. Boil spinach in slightly salted water for 5 min while keeping the vessel covered.

  2. Strain boiled spinach and wash in cold water & keep aside.

  3. Take oil in a pan, add black cumin seeds & add onions.

  4. Add ginger garlic paste after onions are transparent & cook for 2 min.

  5. Add tomatoes & cook for 2-3 min.

  6. Add boiled & cooled spinach, salt & white pepper powder and cook for 5-7 min.

  7. Add cream & cook for 2-3 min.

  8. Garnish with grated ginger & green chillies & serve with naan or paranthas.

Cooking time : 1/2 hour
Serves : 4 Bottle Gourd Raita:

Method :

  1. Grind together ginger, green chilli, sugar & coriander leaves.

  2. Beat the yoghurt & add above paste.

  3. Add boiled bottle gourd, salt, black salt & mix.

  4. Add dried mint powder & serve with masala puri or pulao.

Tomatoes 2, finely chopped
Black Cumin seeds 5g
Oil 4 tb spoon
Fresh dairy Cream 50g
Salt to taste
Ginger grated & Green chillies to garnish.

Bottle Gourd Raita:

Ingredients:

Bottle gourd small 1, grated & boiled
Yoghurt 400g
Sugar 2 tea spoons
Ginger 5g
Coriander leaves 20g
Green chilli 1
Dried mint powder 1/2 sp
Salt to taste
Black salt a pinch
