Aloo Vada Curry

Method
  1. Mix the mashed potatoes with the red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt.
  2. Knead the stuff till it smoothens.
  3. Make 4 balls and fry them in oil till golden brown.
  4. Keep them on a separate container.
  5. Then heat up mustard oil in kadai and add cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, green chillies.
  6. Add the pastes and cook.
  7. Add red chilli powder to the pastes and cook.
  8. Add water. Cook well.
  9. Add turmeric powder and stir well.
  10. Add salt and sugar for taste.
  11. Add water if needed.
  12. Then add garam masala and Ghee.
  13. Cook well and add the fried balls(Aloo Vada) to the curry. Stir to mix.
  14. Add chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
Ingredients:
3 - big potatoes (boiled, peeled and mashed)
4 tbsp - mustard oil
2 to 3 - cloves
1 - cinnamon
2 - green cardamom
onion ginger garlic pastes
garam masala
coriander leaves(chopped)
red chilli powder
turmeric powder
coriander powder
green chillies
sugar
ghee
salt
