Potato Vada

Method
  1. Boil and mash the potatoes.
  2. Dip the bread slices in water. Squeeze the water out and add the bread to the potatoes.
  3. Add the other ingredients.
  4. Make small vadas out of the mixture.
  5. Put the vadas in a tawa, add oil and remove when crisp.
  6. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
Ingredients:
2 slices - bread
4 - medium sized potatoes
1 tsp - chaat masala
a pinch - asafoetida
a pinch - turmeric
1 tsp - chilli powder (optional)
salt to taste
oil to fry
