3-4 pinches asafetida powder
1/2 tsp. Each cumin & mustard seeds
1/4 tsp. Fenugreek seeds
1 tsp. Sugar or 1 tbsp. jaggery (optional)
1 tbsp. finely scraped coconut (optional)
salt to taste
3 cups hot water
1 tbsp. ghee or oil
