  1. Knead all ingredients together in a stiff dough adding water if needed.
  2. Make small balls and roll out puri sized rotis.
  3. Cook on a greased griddle one by one and serve with butter.
3 cups whole wheat flour (atta)
1 tsp. cumin seeds
1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
1/2 cup yoghurt
1/4 tsp. asafetida
1 tbsp. oil
Salt to taste
