Vegetable fried rice

Method
  1. Rinse rice and pressure cook with required water till rice grain is separated, keep aside.
  2. Heat oil and olive oil in a kadai, add onions and garlic saute for 2mins and then add spring onions and fry till it turns brown.
  3. Add carrots, beans and cabbage and saute till they shrink and raw smell leaves.
  4. Add capsicum saute with the veggies for 2mins.
  5. Then add soya sauce, pepper powder and required salt in high flame.
  6. Keep stirring continuously for 10 seconds.
  7. Then simmer until the veggies are well blended with the sauce and fried well.
  8. Then add the cooked rice and mix well.
  9. Let the rice fry for another 3-4 mins.
  10. Garnish with spring onions (optional) and switch off.
  11. Serve hot with tomato sauce or gobi manchurian.

1 cup - basmati rice
1 - carrot
3 to 4 - beans
1/4 cup - cabbage
1 medium sized - onion, chopped
2 tbsp - spring onions, finely chopped
1/2 - capsicum, chopped fine
1 tsp - soya sauce
2 tsp - pepper
1 tbsp - oil
1 tbsp - olive oil
Salt, as required
