Fried channa dal chutney

Method
  1. Mix all ingredients for chutney and prepare a nice paste in mixie.
  2. Prepare tempering &pour this over chutney,mix well and serve.
  3. Can be served with dosa/ idli/ pongal/ upma.
Ingredients:
Fried channa dal - 200gms
Green chillies - 4
Dessicated coconut /fresh grated coconut - 2 tbsp
Jeera - 1/4 tsp
Tamarind paste - 1/2 tsp (or 1tsp lime juice)
Cloves of garlic (peeled) - 3
Salt
Chopped coriander - 2 tsp

For tempering: Oil - 1tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/4tsp
Curry patta leaves - 6
Urad dal - 1tsp
Red chilli - 1 (broken into pieces)
