Sweet Sour Pickle

Method
  1. Wash all the lemon.
  2. Cut each lemon into eight pieces.
  3. Apply salt and turmeric powder to the lemon pieces.
  4. Store in an air tight jar for 3-4 days but stir once a day.
  5. Remove the lemon pieces from the water formed.
  6. Preserve a tbsp of the salt water.
  7. Dry the pieces on a piece of cloth for about 12 hours.
  8. Thoroughly rub a tbsp of salted lemon water with finely cut jaggery and mix thoroughly.
  9. Mix the prepared mixture thoroughly with lemon pieces.
  10. Store in an air tight jar for 8-10 days.
  11. Stir well in the jar once a day each day.
Ingredients:
12 - big lemon

For Masala:
¾ gm - jaggery, finely cut
1 tbsp - chilli powder
½ cup - salt
1 tbsp - turmeric powder
1 tsp - garam masala
¼ tsp - cardamom powder
