Method
  1. Fried the idli (from small pieces). Keep aside.
  2. In the remaining oil, add the remaining ginger, garlic and crushed red chilli. Fry for a minute.
  3. Add salt and spring onions. Stir fry for a minute.
  4. Add 1 1/2 cups water and bring to a boil.
  5. Add 1tbsp. cornflour to 1/4 cup water. Dissolve well.
  6. Gradually add to the gravy and stir continuously till it resumes boiling.
  7. Boil till the gravy becomes transparent.
  8. Add Fried Idli. soya sauce.
  9. Boil for 2 more minutes. Remove.
  10. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
Ingredients:
2 cups - left over idli
1 tsp - garlic(finely chopped)
2 tsps - ginger(finely chopped)
2 nos - red chilies(dry)
3 tbsps - vegetable oil
3 tbsps - corn flour
¼ tsp - red chili powder
1 small bunch - spring onion, finely chopped
1 1/2 cups - water
