MethodBoil and mash the potatoes, add salt and make a soft dough.
For Filling:
- Grate paneer and khowa and to that add coriander, cashewnuts and cream and keep it aside.
- Make round balls of the dough.
- Flatten them on the palm and keep the filling in shape them into the shape of koftas.
- Roll in maida and fry.
For Gravy:
- Grind tomates and green chillies into a fine paste.
- Roast all the spices on a tawa and grind them into powder.
- Heat oil in a kadhai, add onion paste, tomato, green chilli paste and fry till slight golden brown.
- Add water and simmer stirring continuously.
- Then add the koftas and just give one stir.
- Garnish it with cream, ginger julians and fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve it hot with butter naan or tandoori roti.
