Method
Boil and mash the potatoes, add salt and make a soft dough.

For Filling:

  1. Grate paneer and khowa and to that add coriander, cashewnuts and cream and keep it aside.
  2. Make round balls of the dough.
  3. Flatten them on the palm and keep the filling in shape them into the shape of koftas.
  4. Roll in maida and fry.

For Gravy:

  1. Grind tomates and green chillies into a fine paste.
  2. Roast all the spices on a tawa and grind them into powder.
  3. Heat oil in a kadhai, add onion paste, tomato, green chilli paste and fry till slight golden brown.
  4. Add water and simmer stirring continuously.
  5. Then add the koftas and just give one stir.
  6. Garnish it with cream, ginger julians and fresh coriander leaves.
  7. Serve it hot with butter naan or tandoori roti.
Ingredients:
potatoes - 250 gms
tomatoes - 300 gms
paneer - 100 gms
maida - 50 gms
onion - 100 gms
cashewnuts - 50 gms
cumin seeds - 10 gms
khowa - 25 gms
poppy seeds - 10 gms
sugar - 1/2 tsp
oil - 100 ml
garam masala powder - 1 tsp
cream - 1 tsp
coriander - 1 bunch
salt to taste
