Method
  1. Heat 1 tblsp of oil in a kadai.
  2. Saute mustard, curry leaves, cumin until they splutter.
  3. Add onions and fry until golden brown.
  4. Add the tamrind juice, samabar powder and salt (as per taste) with water and stir well.
  5. Cook 10-15 mins, until the onion cooks.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  7. Enjoy this side dish for rice, chappathi, roti.
Ingredients:
5 nos - onion, chopped vertically
1/2 cup - tamarind juice
1 tsp - sambar powder
oil for frying
salt to taste
