Method
- Heat 1 tblsp of oil in a kadai.
- Saute mustard, curry leaves, cumin until they splutter.
- Add onions and fry until golden brown.
- Add the tamrind juice, samabar powder and salt (as per taste) with water and stir well.
- Cook 10-15 mins, until the onion cooks.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Enjoy this side dish for rice, chappathi, roti.
Ingredients:
5 nos - onion, chopped vertically
1/2 cup - tamarind juice
1 tsp - sambar powder
oil for frying
salt to taste
