Method
- In a large bowl, mash the banana.
- Then add the grated jaggery and mix well using your fingers.
- Now add the broken cashew, cardamom powder, fennel seeds and a pinch of salt.
- Finally add the semolina and bind it into a dough.
- If need be, add more semolina to make dough.
- Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a small kadai.
- Once oil is hot enough, slowly put small balls of the banana dough into the oil and fry till brown.
- Remove and place on paper napkins to drain off excess oil.
- Banana bhajjis are now ready to serve.
