Method
  1. Steam the potatoes, peel the skin & mash it.
  2. Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan & season with mustard, urad dal.
  3. Now add sliced onion, ginger, green chillies, curry leaves in it & saute.
  4. When the onions turn into reddish brown, add the smashed potatoes salt & turmeric powder.
  5. Mix well & remove from the fire. let it cool for some time. Make small balls out of it.
  6. Remove the edges of the bread slices, soak in water for a few seconds, take out & squeeze.
  7. Take the above made masala & place inside the bread slices cover it up just like parathas.
  8. Fry this in oil until reddish brown. Serve hot with green chutney or tomato sauce.
Ingredients:
Bread - 8 slices
potatoes -4 nos
mustard seeds -1tsp
urdh daal - 1tsp
onion thinly sliced -3 nos
finely chopped ginger - 1tsp
green chillies -5nos
curry leaves
turmeric powder
salt to taste
oil to fry
