Method
  1. Clean and wash poha in a strainer, keep aside after all the water has drained
  2. Heat oil, add asafoetida, dried chilli, mustard and curry leaves and allow to splutter
  3. Mix in the poha and stir on reduced heat
  4. Add sugar, salt, turmeric and continue to stir for about 4-5 mins
  5. Mix in chopped spinach leaves and stir gently
  6. Cook for another minute
  7. Serve hot so that spinach does not lose colour
Ingredients:
2 cups - poha (beaten rice)
1 cup - spinach
2tbsp - oil
3 pinches - sugar
1/4tsp - turmeric powder
1 pinch - asafoetida
1 - dried chilli
A few curry leaves
1/4 tsp - mustard
