Kadai Paneer

Method
  1. Heat oil in a kadai and fry coriander seeds.
  2. Now add ginger and fry for 2 minutes.
  3. Add chopped onion, green chillies and fry till onion turns transparent.
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes and salt.
  5. Fry till tomatoes turn soft.
  6. Now add all the powders - chilli, dhaniya, garam masala and turmeric. Mix well.
  7. Now add the cubed capsicum and fry for 1 or 2 minutes.
  8. See to it that the crunchiness and colour should not change.
  9. Add the paneer cubes and kasoori methi and 1/2 cup water. Mix well.
  10. Cook till the masala coats paneer well.
  11. Now garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice, naan or roti.
Ingredients:
100g - paneer, cubed
2 - onion, cubed
3 - tomatoes (small), chopped
1 - capsicum, cubed
1 tbsp - ginger, finely chopped
2 - green chillies
1 & 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
1 tbsp - dhaniya/coriander powder
3/4 tsp - garam masala powder
1/8 tsp - turmeric powder
Salt as needed
1 tsp - kasoori methi
2 tbsp - coriander leaves, chopped
1/2 cup water

To Temper:
3 tbsp - oil
1 tsp - coriander seeds
