Mix sliced shakarkandi with the rest of the ingredients and serve.

Method for making sonth chutney:
Put the following ingredients in a pan and cook till thickened to desired consistency:

  1. 2 tbsp amchoor powder
  2. 1/2 cup jaggery
  3. 1/2 tsp black salt
  4. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  5. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  6. 1 tsp cumin seed (roasted)
  7. 1/2 tsp dry ginger powder
  8. 1/2 cup water

Note: Shakarkandi or sweet potato is rich in antioxidants and is known for its anti-inflammatory properties.

Ingredients:
500g shakarkandi (sweet potato), boiled and cut into round pieces
Salt and chilli powder to taste
1 tbsp lemon juice (or, to taste)
2-3 green chillies, chopped
1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
1/2 cup black grapes
1/2 cup sonth chutney
