Sweet sour ladies finger

Method
  1. Wash and cut ladies finger into small pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a thick vessel; when oil is hot, add the mustard seeds, methi seeds, saunf, curry leaves.
  3. When they crackle add the ladies finger, salt and chilli powder.
  4. Saute for 2 munutes, then add the tamarind pulp and cook till the ladies fingers are tender.
  5. Add jaggery and grated coconut.
  6. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Sweetness can be adjusted as per taste.
Ingredients:
1 cup ladies finger, chopped
2 tbsp tamarind paste
2 tbsp jaggery
Salt to taste
1 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp methi seeds
1/2 tsp saunf
1/2 tsp mustard
1/2 cup grated coconut
A few curry leaves
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
A few curry patta
