Method
  1. Boil milk for 15 mins
  2. Fry rice with ghee for 5 mins till the color changes to golden
  3. Grind rice coarsely in grinder, don't make it fine powder
  4. Add the coarse grind rice in boiling milk
  5. Keep stirring for 15 mins till the dish turns semi solid
  6. Add sugar and saffron and keep stirring for 5 more mins
  7. Put the dish in a bowl and refrigerate for 30 mins
  8. Serve in a bowl garnished with sliced dry fruits
  9. Enjoy the delicious Indian phirnee
Ingredients:
2 litres - milk (full cream)
100gm - basmati rice
1 tbsp - ghee
1 tsp - cardamom powder
8-10 - almonds
8-10 - cashew nuts
8-10 - pistachio
8-10 - raisins
1 pinch - saffron
150g - sugar
