Method
Heat a kadai, dry roast coriander seeds and red chillies till a nice aroma appears and keep aside.
Now roast tur dal and chana dal for 3 minutes and keep aside.
Roast moong dal and urad dal and keep aside.
Roast poppy seeds and sesame seeds together and keep aside.
Roast ground nuts and cashewnuts together and keep aside.
Let all the ingredients cool.
After 5 minutes, grind all ingredients along with asafoetida powder and salt.
Store this powder in an air-tight container.
Serve with hot rice along with ghee or til oil.
