Kadale Bele Nuchchunde

Method
  1. Soak channa dal, rice and moong dal for 2-3 hrs.
  2. Drain the water.
  3. Grind the soaked mixture along with chilli and ginger, so that it is not soft (half grinded).
  4. Add little quantity of water while grinding.
  5. Mix the sugar and chopped coriander and curry leaves in the grinded mixture.
  6. Take the grinded mixture in your hand and close your fingers and make a stuff of it.
  7. Press it such that the finger prints are there on the stuff.
  8. Now take a flat bowl or plate and apply little quantity of ghee to it.
  9. Place all the stuffs in the container.
  10. Keep it in cooker for 10 minutes without putting the whistle (Like idly).
  11. Remove it after 2 minutes after switching off the gas.
  12. Serve it with tomato sauce or coconut chutney.

Note:
Don't add too much water while grinding.
Grind it into crushed like batter.

Ingredients:
1 cup - channa dal
1/4 cup - rice
1/4 cup - moong dal
1/2 cup - coriander & curry leaves (chopped)
2 to 3 - green chilly
1 spoon - ghee
1/2 spoon - sugar
1" piece - ginger
