Method
- Soak channa dal, rice and moong dal for 2-3 hrs.
- Drain the water.
- Grind the soaked mixture along with chilli and ginger, so that it is not soft (half grinded).
- Add little quantity of water while grinding.
- Mix the sugar and chopped coriander and curry leaves in the grinded mixture.
- Take the grinded mixture in your hand and close your fingers and make a stuff of it.
- Press it such that the finger prints are there on the stuff.
- Now take a flat bowl or plate and apply little quantity of ghee to it.
- Place all the stuffs in the container.
- Keep it in cooker for 10 minutes without putting the whistle (Like idly).
- Remove it after 2 minutes after switching off the gas.
- Serve it with tomato sauce or coconut chutney.
Note:
Don't add too much water while grinding.
Grind it into crushed like batter.
