Method
  1. Heat oil in a small kadai.add kasoorri methi, stir briefly and add rest of the ingredients.
  2. Cook covered on low heat till palak is soft. Open the lid and stir on high flame to evaporate any liquid given out by palak.
  3. Cool and add to idly batter.
  4. Pour in greased idly molds and steam for 15 minutes. Serve hot with chutney.

Makes:About 12 Idlies

Ingredients:
oil - 2 tsp
kasoori methi - 1 tsp
palak - 2 cups, finely chopped
green chilies - 1 tsp, minced
ginger - 1 tsp, minced
salt to taste
