Stuffed Mirchi Bajji

Method
  1. Mix gram flour with some water and stir well.
  2. Ensure that you remove all the lumps, add a little more water, chilli powder, salt, soda, ajwain and mix well such that the batter is thick enough for a dip (not too watery).
  3. Slit the capsicum on one side (remove seeds if you don't prefer them).
  4. Heat oil in a pan, dip the capsicum in the batter and drop it in oil and fry well.
  5. Remove and place on kitchen towel.
  6. Slit the capsicum on one side, stuff it with onions, sprinkle some chilli powder, cumin powder, amchur powder and salt.
  7. Put some coriander leaves at last and squeeze in some lime juice.

Ingredients:
4-5 long/round capsicum
1 cup gram flour
1 pinch baking soda
1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp ajwain/carom seeds (optional)
Oil for frying

For stuffing: Onions finely chopped, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, amchur (dry mango) powder, finely chopped coriander leaves, 1 lime
