After the onions are sauted add haldi and stir for few seconds.
Add the green part of the onions and cook for about 5 minutes or
till they loose they raw flavour.
Add tamaring juice and salt. If you want spicy add chilli powder and
cook for few minutes.
Mix besan in 1/4 cup water till no lumps are left. Add this besan mixture to the onions and cook for 5 minutes.
Add sugar and stir for few minutes and remove from flame.
Serve this hot with Rice or Chapattis. Also tastes great when cold.

1/2 Cup Tamarind Juice
3 Green Chillies
2 tbsp. Besan (Chickpea Flour)
1/4 tsp. Mustard
1/4 tsp. Jeera (Cumin)
Salt to Taste
1/2 tsp. Chilli Powder (Optional)
1/4 tsp. Haldi (Turmeric) powder
1 tbs. Oil
1/4 cup Water
2 tbsp. Sugar
