Method
- Chop chillies and onions and keep aside.
- Chop all the other vegetables in small pieces (approx 0.5 cm sq)
- Heat oil in pan; put urad dal, mustard seeds, curry leaves.
- Saute till urad dal is little brown; then put onions and other vegetables; add salt.
- Cover and allow to fry till they are little soft on reduced flame.
- Sprinkle the rawa on the vegetables slowly and mix well.
- Sprinke some water if necessary so that the rawa is properly coated on the vegetables.
- See that the rawa does not form clods.
- Cover the pan and allow to cook for about 5 minutes.
- Vegetable Upma is ready to serve.
