Mixed Vegetable Sambar

Method
  1. Cut all the vegetables and cook it along with salt and turmeric powder in the tamarind water.
  2. Meanwhile take a pan, heat it with some oil.
  3. Fry coriander leaves, methi seed, channa dhal, and red chilies until everything goes golden brown.
  4. Grind the fried items with coconut and keep it a side.
  5. After the vegetables and cooked then add the grinded mixture in to it.
  6. Add the cooked toor dhal into it.
  7. Add some water and boil it.
  8. Meanwhile take a pan and heat it with oil in it.
  9. Add uludh dhal and mustard.
  10. When ulud dhal becomes golden brown and mustard begins to spurt then add it to the sambar.
  11. Garnish the sambar with curry leaves.
  12. Serve it hot along with rice for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients:
potato
carrot
some radish
1/4 th - capsicum
1/4 th - zucchini
1 - small lemon size tamarind
1 tsp - turmeric powder
3 tsp - dhania seeds
1 tsp - methi seeds
1 tsp - channa dhal
6 - red chilies
1 cup - grated coconut
2 tsp - mustard
1 tsp - uludh dhal
cooked toor dhal
some curry leaves
salt to taste
