Instant Mango Pickle

Method
  1. Dry roast methi and powder it.
  2. Cut the mango into very small squares.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. Season with mustard seeds.
  5. Add the cut mango, turmeric powder and salt and cook for a while.
  6. Add chilli powder and cook till the oil separates.
  7. Remove the pan from the heat.
  8. Add methi powder and asafoetida to the cooked mango and mix it well.
  9. Preserve in an air tight container after it becomes cool.
  10. This can be served immediately.
  11. This will last for 2-3 days.

Ingredients:
2 - raw mango
A little asafoetida
1 tsp - mustard
1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
3 tsp - red chilli powder
2-3 tbsp - gingely oil
1/2 tsp - methi seeds
Salt to taste
