Method
- Fry the Moong dal in a kadai for 2-3 mins in ghee.
- Pressure cook the moong dal with a pinch of turmeric and water.
- To the cooked dal add the jaggery, milk and boil for 10-15 mins.
- Garnish with fried cashews and raisins.
- Serve hot.
Ingredients:
milk - 3 cups
moong dal - 1 cup
jaggery - 1 cup
ghee - 1 tsp
cardamom - 1/2 tsp
turmeric - 1 pinch
cashews
raisins
