Method
  1. Heat oil in a kadai/pan, add mustard seeds and allow to splutter.
  2. Add channa dal and urad dal and fry till brown.
  3. Add finely chopped vegetables and stir for half a minute.
  4. Add one cup oats and stir again for half a minute, then add required salt and pepper powder.
  5. Finally, add 2 cups of water and stir on a low flame.
  6. When oats is done in three minutes switch off and top with coriander/dhania leaves.
  7. Serve hot - keeps you going for three hours as it is very filling!

Ingredients:
1 cup - oats
1/2 cup - mixed vegetables (onion , beans ,carrot, capsicum, cabbage)
1 tsp - mustard seeds
1/2 tsp - channa dal/Bengal gram
1/2 tsp - urad dal/black gram
1&1/2 tsp - oil
Salt and pepper powder to taste
2 cups - water
