Method
  1. Wash and keep red gram in a pressure cooker.
  2. Add 1 cup of water to be boiled.
  3. Keep it for 15 minutes and then smash it
  4. Dhal is ready to be served. Serve it with ghee.

Optional: Cumin seeds and green chillies can be added according to taste.

This recipe is called Paruppu Kadayal in Tamil.
