Method
- Mix rice flour, salt and jeera.
- Add onions, green chillies, coconut and coriander and mix well.
- Add little water to make it a very stiff dough.
- Make even sized balls (little bigger than puri balls and smaller than chapathi balls).
- Start heating the oil.
- Take a glossed paper (or plantain leaf or plastic cover).
- Put the balls on it and put 2-3 drops of oil on top of it.
- Flatten the balls and put them in oil.
- Fry till golden brown or lighter.
- Thottidhu is now ready to eat it can be served with curds.
Note:
If u want it crisp, then make the thottidhu thin.
