Method
  1. Mix rice flour, salt and jeera.
  2. Add onions, green chillies, coconut and coriander and mix well.
  3. Add little water to make it a very stiff dough.
  4. Make even sized balls (little bigger than puri balls and smaller than chapathi balls).
  5. Start heating the oil.
  6. Take a glossed paper (or plantain leaf or plastic cover).
  7. Put the balls on it and put 2-3 drops of oil on top of it.
  8. Flatten the balls and put them in oil.
  9. Fry till golden brown or lighter.
  10. Thottidhu is now ready to eat it can be served with curds.

Note:
If u want it crisp, then make the thottidhu thin.

Ingredients:
rice flour -1 cup
onions - 1 big (very finely chopped)
grated coconut - 1/4 cup
green chillies - 5 to 6
coriander - little finely chopped
jeera - little
salt to taste
oil for frying
