Besan ke cheele

Method
  1. In a big bowl, add besan and wheat flour and mix well.
  2. Now add salt, soda, onions, tomatoes, green chillies, curry leaves, jeera powder, haldi and mix well.
  3. Pour some water in the mixture and mix well without any lumps.
  4. The batter should not be too thick or too thin; keep aside for 30 mins.
  5. Heat a pan and pour 2 tsp of olive oil.
  6. Pour a small bowlful of mixture on the pan and spread it with a spoon.
  7. Cook it on medium flame for 3-4 mins to prevent it from burning.
  8. Turn the chila over and cook on the other side too.
  9. When cooked, remove and serve immediately with green chutney.
Ingredients:
1&1/2 cups - gram flour/besan
1&1/2 medium - onion, chopped fine
2 medium - tomatoes, chopped fine
1/2 cup - wheat flour
2-3 - green chillies, chopped
10 - curry leaves, chopped
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp - turmeric/haldi powder
1 tsp - roasted cumin/jeera powder
2 pinches - soda
Green chutney to serve
